CoreGRID Integration Workshop 2006 "Integrated Research in Grid Computing" Krakow, Poland, October 19-20 cgiw06@uni-muenster.de The Second Workshop "Integrated Research in Grid Computing" will be held on October 19-20 in Krakow, Poland. The workshop is organised by the Network of Excellence "CoreGRID" funded by the European Commission under the sixth framework programme IST-2003-2.3.2.8. The goal of the workshop is to promote the integration of the European research community in the area of Grid technologies, in order to overcome the current fragmentation and duplication of efforts in this area. The workshop is open to the participants of the CoreGRID network and also to the parties interested in cooperating with the network and/or, possibly joining the network in the future. Research papers are invited to be submitted. The research topics of the workshop cover the whole breadth of the Grid science and technology, including but not limited to: - Knowledge & data management
- Programming model
- System architecture
- Grid information and monitoring services
- Resource management and scheduling
- Problem solving environments, tools and GRID systems
The priority will be given to work conducted in collaboration between partners from different research institutions and to well described research proposals that foster such collaboration in the future. The workshop will begin in the morning of October 19 and end in the evening of October 20 (i.e. two full days). There will be a joint dinner on October 20. PAPER SUBMISSION Papers should be submitted electronically to cgiw06@uni-muenster.de. Please format the paper according to the Springer CoreGRID series style available from https://bscw.ercim.org/bscw/bscw.cgi/81553 Submitted papers should not exceed 12 pages, including figures, tables and references. Acceptable formats are PostScript or PDF, viewable by gv or Acrobat Reader (submitted files can be compressed using zip, gzip or bzip2). PAPERS THAT ARE NOT FORMATTED ACCORDING TO THE SPRINGER COREGRID SERIES STYLE OR EXCEED THE PAGE LIMIT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR REVIEWING. PROCEEDINGS Original submissions are expected which, if accepted, will be published in the volume of preliminary proceedings available at the workshop.
