This activity should help members of the Network to be involved in national, bilateral or multilateral projects or programmes partially funded leading to better integration.

Based on its large number of partners having strong links with their own national programme in GRID technologies, the network identified among its member institutes, the proper contact points to collect information on national GRID initiatives that could generate project proposals. The same activity was conducted at the European level.

As a result, funding sources have been identified and described on the private web site and some proposals were generated under the IST call 2, 5 and 6 and one under the Marie Curie scheme.

The European commission Framework Programme 7 has been launched in Helsinki in November 2006 . We expect this new seven year programme to continue to invest on Grid research activities.
