Coordination of the Annual Scientific Roadmap |
Leader: INRIA The Annual Scientific Roadmap is prepared in collaboration with all the CoreGRID partners through the Scientific Workpackage leaders (WP2-WP7). This roadmap describes the annual roadmap for the six research areas, i.e. Institutes, associated with the CoreGRID Joint Research Program. The Scientific Coordinator (SCO) is in charge of coordinating the preparation of the Annual Scientific Roadmap and for making sure the work is done properly according to the demands of the excellence. In the latest roadmap there is a specific section for each Institute. These sections contain three different aspects: 1) Challenges, 2) Research activities, 3) Activities related to software services, 4) Applications and use cases, 5) Partners contribution to the research Roadmap. Each Institute leader is responsible for preparing the content of the section of his/her Institute. He/she has to be in contact with the partners of the Institute and collect necessary information. The leader sends the input of the Institute to the SCO who is to check that all the sections contain needed information and follow the similar format of the CoreGRID template. As a result of this activity, the SCO produced two deliverables D.IA.09 (delivered at M22) and D.IA.20 (delivered at M39)
