Recent trends in information and communication technologies such as resource sharing across multiple domains, virtualization, mobility and service orientation pose several trust and security challenges due to the possibility of exploiting existing vulnerabilities and creating new threats. The purpose of this topic is to pursue research in the area of trust and security in Grids, clouds, peer-to-peer networks and service-oriented infrastructures. It will leverage from results obtained in the horizontal activity on Trust and Security in Grids developed within the EU CoreGRID Network of Excellence.
