The CoreGRID researchers have received the following awards: - Artur Andrzejak (Zuse Institute Berlin) and Luis Silva (University of Coimbra) received the Best Paper Award of the NOMS 2008 Conference for their paper "Using Machine Learning for Non-Intrusive Modeling and Prediction of Software Aging" (A short presentation of the paper is available here )
Professor Vladimir Getov (University of Westminster) received a "Doctor of Science" Award from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for his research work and results in the area of GRID and High Performance Computing with Java (October 2006) Philipp Lüdeking (University of Münster) received the prize for the "Best Master's Thesis in Computer Science 2006" from North Westphalia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This thesis was supervised by Jan Dünnweber (University of Münster)

- Luis Moura Silva , Javier Alonso , Paulo Silva, Jordi Torres and Artur Andrzejak received a Best Application Paper Award for their paper "Using Virtualization to Improve Software Rejuvenation", during the 6th IEEE International Symposium on Network Computing and Applications (July 2007).
- Augusto Ciuffoletti (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare), Antonio Congiusta (University of Calabria), Gracjan Jankowski, Michal Jankowski, Norbert Meyer (PSNC) and Ondrej Krajicek (Masaryk University) published the following paper to the WEBIST Conference 2006 : "Grid Infrastructure Architecture - a modular approach from CoreGRID ". This paper has been selected to be included in a best paper issue of the LNBIP serie (yet to appear).

Antoine Pichot (Alcatel-Lucent), Philipp Wieder (Research Centre Jülich), Oliver Wäldrich and Wolfgang Ziegler (Fraunhofer Instiute SCAI) published the following paper to the WEBIST Conference 2008 : "Dynamic SLA Negotiation based on WS-Agreement". This paper has been selected to be included in a best paper issue of the LNBIP series . (NB: This paper was also published as the CoreGRID Technical Report TR-0082 )
