 CoreGRID applied for an exhibit at the IST Event 2006

CoreGRID will present a research and technology exhibition stand.   Two researches’ results and applications will be demonstrated at the CoreGRID stand.    Advance Reservation of Compute and Networking Resources in the Grid with QoS Guarantees for MPI Applications Demo case information sheet for download ICGrid: Intensive Care Grid Demo case information sheet for download   The demonstrations will relate to the six Institutes (research areas) around which the CoreGRID Network is operated. Visitors will have the opportunity to actively participate to these demonstrations and discuss market applications and impact on the European Industry.

 

CoreGRID and Europe's Information Society

CoreGRID is funded by the European Commission within the EU’s Sixth Research Framework Programme through a grant of 8.2 million Euro assigned for a duration of four years.

 

CoreGRID started in September 2004 and clearly aims at European scientific and technological excellence, encouraging the mobility of researchers and addressing long-term Grid research to build the foundations for the next generation Grids, from 2010 and beyond.
