Aim and Scope
The workshop aims at bringing together the academic and industrial communities performing Grid research in Europe. The workshop is organized in the context of the CoreGRID Network of Excellence and wishes to provide a forum for the presentation and exchange of views on the latest developments in Grid Technology research.
The CoreGRID Network of Excellence aims at strengthening and advancing scientific and technological excellence in the area of Grid and Peer-to-Peer technologies. To achieve its objectives, CoreGRID brings together a critical mass of well-established researchers from forty-two Institutes active in the fields of distributed systems and middleware, programming models, algorithms, tools and environments.
At the sidelines of the Workshop the following Institute meetings will take place:
- June 14, 09:30-12:30: Institute on Programming Models (WP3) technical meeting
- June 14, 14:00-17:00: Institute on System Architecture (WP4) technical meeting
- June 14, 14:00-17:00: Institute on Grid Systems, Tools and Environments (WP7) technical meeting

Paper abstracts due date: Monday April 16, 2007
Full papers due date: Monday May 14, 2007
Abstract and full papers should be sent by email to P. Fragopoulou: fragopou@ics.forth.gr.
Selected papers will be published at a special volume of the CoreGRID Springer series after referee process.
RegistrationAll participants should register here before Monday May 14, 2007. All WP3, WP4, and WP7, participants should attend the Workshop and the Technical Meetings. Other CoreGRID participants as well as interested external researchers are highly encouraged to attend the Workshop.
